Thanks for passing that along to me, Haley. I agree, someone must have been looking out for you. Some refer to that as the "burnt toast theory" - look it up. In any case, I'm glad your safe. And moving forward, I'm sure you'll have much better luck with tires :)

About 50 years ago I was a teenager with my first drivers license. My parents trusted me with letting me take the car out on Friday and Saturday nights to see friends. I lived in a rural area with a lot of mountain back roads created for the logging trucks to get into the deep woods. One day I had a friend with me traveling behind a logging truck with a full load of logs sticking out from the back. They are supposed to tack a red cloth to the end of the longest log which is crucial to the safety of cars directly behind them. This one truck I was following did not have a red cloth and when it came to a stop I didn't notice that one log was sticking out quite a bit longer than all the others. It all blends together. …Without a doubt… I believe my guardian angel picked up my right leg from the gas pedal and put it on the brake pedal. I realized what happened immediately so I pressed down the brake pedal to stop. I was in amazement when I saw one skinny log not more than one inch from the windshield directly infront of my friends face! She surely would have been decapitated if I hadn't stopped. So much gratitude for my angels and guides. 😇👣

So the weirdest thing happened in my car on the way to work the other night and I can only chalk it up to someone watching out for me. I was driving down the street and my low tire sensor suddenly came on and notified me that my back passenger tire was completely flat. Mind you it is about 10:30 at night at this point, so I find a well lit parking lot pull in and park as I have always carried a portable air compressor with me because I tend to have terrible luck when it comes to tires. But then I look down at my dashboard before getting out intending to switch it over to tire pressure mode so I can monitor how much air is going into the tire and the sensor has gone off. So I switched it over to the tire pressures and to my surprise instead of it reading 0 it's now at 35 psi. The only explanation I can come up with is that something was going to happen if I would have continued on my way to work without stopping and someone was looking out for me and since they know that I never mess around when it comes to my tires they knew it would make me stop.
