Which places around the world give you a sense of deja vu? Which locations call to your soul? This ache is deeply rooted in past lifetimes… vague memories of lands your soul has never forgotten but your mind can’t quite remember.
Paris. It was on my list from the time I was 9 years old, maybe younger. Ive been there once and now my children are on pins and needles wanting to go as well! Taking them in 6 years when my son graduates high school. 💜
Old Hollywood in the era of silent films and early talkies. As I read biographies of people from that time period, I have such a strong sensation I was there. Not as an actor, but a person in production. Someday I will have the funds to meet with you and confirm if it's true or just an overactive imagination.
Savannah, Georgia. Found a very old book of paintings, while looking through it I happened upon a landscape painting of the oak trees with spanish moss hanging from the trees. It’s hard to explain the feelings I had, so familiar but almost sadness too.
Japan. Started after I was shown this old anime about a wondering Samurai. I was hooked. I don’t normally like anime, but this was an exception, which there are few of. I was supposed to get stationed near Tokyo when I was in the Air Force, but that dream got cut short after getting medically discharged. Even when I listen to the Japanese language in videos or music, although I’m unsure of what they are saying, It sounds…familiar?
