I write soul stories. Each day, I go on adventures with the spirit guides of my clients. These meditation experiences are unique, and no two are the same. After gathering intuitive insights on behalf of my clients, I email them a five or ten-page write-up based on what I learned. Below is one I completed last month. The client emailed her feedback after reading her Soul Discovery, and you’ll see her feedback in italics during the appropriate part of the story. She’s permitted me to share this publicly. Here is the write-up in its entirety…
Hi, Liz. Thanks for having me do this for you. When I meditate and consult with a person’s spirit guides, the visions are so colorful and lifelike that they feel more like real life rather than images in my head. I cannot control what happens in these experiences, so it kind of feels like stepping into a fantasy movie or science fiction book. You opted to keep it open-ended since you had no particular questions. I uncovered a great deal of information for you. You signed up for five pages, but it turned into ten since I got a little carried away. Here’s what I discovered…
I found myself standing inside an airplane hangar. The main door was open, and plenty of light poured into the place from outside. I looked around and saw a few smaller planes. They were old-fashioned and looked to be from the World War II era.
I have always loved planes, especially watching them take off and land to me is fascinating. Matter of fact last Thursday I saw two fighter jets take off from Offutt and it gave me goose bumps!
The entire place was silent except for a faint murmur of noise in the far corner of the hangar. I walked over to it, which took a while since the place was massive. I finally spotted the origin of the noise. It was an old radio that was tuned into some kind of news program. The man on the radio spoke quickly and had a high voice. He spoke with that old-timey radio voice from a bygone era (if you know what I mean.) I’ve come to learn that everything in these soul discovery sessions has meaning. So, I paid attention and listened closely. Here’s essentially what the man on the radio said…
“This just in… breaking news that Liz is a force to be reckoned with. Gone now are the days of self-doubt and worry. She’s a survivor. A thriver. A self-sufficient woman who gets the job done with little outside help. Henceforth, she will know her worth and demand the respect she deserves. As spiritual warriors go, she travels lightly. A smile is her sword, and hope is her shield. Through the wilderness of life, she travels in search of insight and meaning. Where she will end up, nobody knows. She’s driven by a hunger to enjoy every chapter of life… and a thirst for spiritual growth. This is Chet signing off. God bless, and good evening.”
Just then, the radio fell silent and turned itself off.
I have worked very hard on self-love and self-worth recently and your words reinforce that this is paying off. What I got from this is that living this life and loving/ respecting myself is my purpose. That takes a huge load off.
“He has a way with words, doesn’t he?”
I looked around, wondering who had spoken to me. Suddenly, I spotted a nearby gentleman who was wearing a beige jumpsuit and lying underneath one of the planes as he adjusted something with a wrench. He shifted his gaze from the plane’s underbelly to me, and he smiled. “Chet… he’s quite the talker and has a flare for the dramatic.”
I looked back at the radio, trying to collect my thoughts. “Oh yeah,” I said, “I guess that’s why he’s on radio, huh?”
The man slid from underneath the plane on a little roller and stood to his feet. He wiped his greasy hands on his coveralls and offered me a handshake. “Name’s Irving,” he said. “But my friends call me Rocky.”
I asked if he was one of your spirit guides, and he nodded affirmatively. “It’s an easy gig keeping tabs on Liz,” he said. “Hard part’s letting her figure things out on her own without jumping into help all the time.”
“And what about Chet?” I asked. “Is he a spirit guide for her as well?”
He said yes, and that Chet helps with big-picture things. Rocky, on the other hand, monitors the day-to-day. But again, he emphasized that he takes a hands-off approach unless you’re really struggling with something. I asked how you were doing lately. He leaned against the plane and said, “Why don’t you ask Evelyn?”
“Is that another spirit guide?” I asked.
He chuckled and nodded his head toward the cockpit of the plane. “Nah, it’s what I call this lovely hunk of metal. Climb on up, and you can ask her questions until your heart’s content.”
“You want me to ask questions to the plane?!” I said. “Liz’s going to think I’m nuts when I tell her this.”
“It’s not crazy if it works,” he said with a laugh.
I shimmied up toward the cockpit. I noticed various symbols and emblems plastered on the plane. There was a butterfly, a crescent moon, and the iconic image of Rosie the Riveter. I jokingly commented to Rocky that these symbols weren’t very intimidating and seemed out of place on a fighter plane. He found this quite amusing and agreed with me. However, he said symbolism is very important.
He said the butterfly represents metamorphosis and how you’re now flying along a spiritual trajectory. The crescent moon symbolizes that your soul is whole and complete even when you feel empty or depleted. He said similarly, the moon is always 100% intact even though we see it as a half-moon or a sliver, depending on its phases. Rosie the Riveter symbolizes your work ethic and your determination. As for the fighter plane, it correlates to your internal “fight” that prevents you from giving up when things get tough. I promised him I would relay all of that to you.
Butterflies and crescent moons are very powerful symbols to me. I will send you a picture of the moon I took a few weeks ago, because it showed so well that even though only part of it was lit up, the whole moon was still there. Any time I have seen Rosie the Riveter I have found it powerful, but love the symbolism Rocky attached to it.
I climbed into the cockpit, but it was a one-seater, so there was only room for me. Rocky sat on the base of the wing near my open window. Inside the aircraft, I felt like a kid who wanted to push all the buttons. There were countless switches and levers, none of which I was familiar with. But then I noticed something interesting. One of the buttons was lit up green and displayed texts that read, “Pre-Liz.” I turned to Rocky, somewhat confused, and said, “What does this mean? Like Liz before Liz.” He flashed me a grin and said, “Give it a whirl.”
I pushed the button, and an image appeared embedded into the windshield in front of me. For a super old airplane, it suddenly felt futuristic and high-tech. I instantly knew I was seeing highlights from your past lifetimes. As all these images illuminated the airplane’s windshield, there was no sound, but I could clearly see what each lifetime was about based on the contexts of the videos that played.
They flashed quickly, much like a movie trailer would. I saw a video of you saving someone from a shark attack, and the person survived. You must have been the nurse or caretaker because, for the remainder of that life, it seemed as though you helped this person with everyday tasks since one of her arms was partially missing.
Rocky chimed in, explaining that it took place off the coast of Brazil in the 1800s. He said despite the obvious trauma you witnessed, you never feared the ocean. You were a good-natured person who enjoyed fishing and making people laugh.
The pre-Connie times were really interesting… especially the shark attack and helping the person with a missing arm. In this life, I lost my right arm at my elbow when I was 4 in a farm accident. A shark accident is one of the stories that my granddaughter made up to make my missing arm more interesting.
I saw a lifetime where you lived extremely close to a military base in England. But it was ironic you were so close to the training grounds because you did not believe in war or violence. You were a master gardener back then. In a strange twist of fate, the military base commissioned you to do some landscaping inside their facility to spruce up the training grounds and give them some color.
I love plants and definitely have a green thumb. I have always been attracted to England and all things English.
You were depicted as a castle guard in one lifetime, and you were very handy, so when the castle was in disrepair, you were hired to fix some of the stones and foundation.
Last summer I took a Rhine River cruise; and my favorite sites were the castles!
You were a professional chef once upon a time in Italy. You were a hunter and long-distance runner in a tribal lifetime in Africa. Another time, you were a financial adviser and banker living in Rhode Island during the early 1700s. You were fascinated with lighthouses back then and could see one from your work desk, which seemed to make you very happy.
The images on the windshield disappeared, but I knew in my heart there were many more journeys you’ve taken all throughout history in various parts of the world.
I have always felt like this is not my first life on this planet, so nice to know that I am an old soul as I for sure feel like one.
“Evelyn?” I said to Rocky, who was still sitting on the wing outside the cockpit. “Is that what you call this thing?”
He was fumbling with a little pamphlet or map of some kind but glanced up to give me an affirmative, “Uh huh.” Then, he said, “Flip the red switch near her altimeter.”
Since I’m not a pilot, I asked, “Where’s the altimeter?”
He looked up again from his pamphlet and raised his eyebrows while smiling. “I thought you were psychic. Use your intuition,” he said playfully.
I finally located the switch he was talking about. When I flipped it, text was displayed on the front windshield of the aircraft. It looked to be inside the glass rather than projected onto its surface (if that makes sense.) I quickly realized all of the information was related to your health. Here’s what I remember it saying.
Mind over matter – if you want to live a long life, you WILL live a long life.
Increase vitamin C intake.
Consume more potassium.
Early to bed, early to rise.
Mental fog caused by fatigue, not early sign of dementia.
Floss.
Take probiotics.
Place rubber grippers on floor of shower or tub to prevent possible slips.
Multitasking causes anxiety. Focus on one thing at a time.
Be mindful of carbs and blood sugars.
Fitness has to be a priority.
Thyroid is unpredictable.
Dreams will be more vivid in summer and winter each year. Sleep tight.
The last few months I have been working with a therapist and also a nutritional counselor. The health items really resonate with what the counselor and I have been working on together.
Suddenly, all the information vanished. I found another switch that had a heart drawn onto it, so I intuitively felt this would show me information related to love life. But oddly, there was a sticky note next to it that read, “Do not push.” I’m not sure what that means… perhaps you’re single and content for now, or you’re happily in a relationship but prefer to keep it private from me. Either way, I respected the note and did not touch that switch.
My therapist and I were discussing some things last week and she mentioned I could consider dating again. I laughed at that and reassured her I am really content to be single right now, so the “do not push” note about my love life made me laugh.
I looked out the window, and Rocky was still studying whatever paper was in his hand. I shrugged and pushed a button labeled Family and Friends. Up popped some information on the screen. I must preface this by admitting that no context was given to me regarding who these people are or how you know them. So, if this doesn’t make sense whatsoever, just disregard it. But I remember seeing the name Kate. And it listed bullet points under her, saying the following.
- Overcoming the need to be a perfectionist
- Likes to play host
- Very social and energetic
- Busy body
- Glue that holds family together
- Classy but still maintains tomboy tendencies
You mentioned Kate. She was my paternal grandmother who died. She has been on my mind a ton lately.
The windshield also referenced a female with a “J” name, but it was not a common name, and I cannot remember what it was (as you can tell, it’s a lot of information for me to process, interpret, and remember.) But I do remember “J” having the following traits or bullet points under her name…
- Funny, silly, witty
- Progressive, thoughtful, inclusive
- Social chameleon
- Emotional depth
The female with a J name is without a doubt my granddaughter, Juniper. The bullet points fit her to a T, and she and I are extremely close.
Next, it listed someone named James.
- Big purchase coming soon
- Large equipment needs moving
- ATV (or maybe it said go-kart) needs maintenance
- Stubborn, honest, hard-working, small-town values
My nephew, James, was born when I was 17, and it was my first experience with unconditional love. While we aren’t as close as when he was little, he is precious to me, and this information definitely describes him!
Finally, curiosity got the best of me, and I asked Rocky what on Earth he was looking at. A map? A brochure?
He said it was a “likely future.”
“Whose likely future?” I asked.
“Miss Liz,” he said casually. “Of course, the future is always in flux. But here, have a looksy yourself.” He leaned toward me and handed me the paper. “Everyone wants a glimpse into their own crystal ball, am I right?”
Written on the paper was each month for the rest of this year and then each year for the next five years. Aside from each time frame was a word or two, which Rocky said is essentially a “theme” for that period of time.
August: Excitement and wonder
September: Intuition comes alive
October: Conserve energy levels and rest
November: Feeling social, but don’t overextend yourself
December: Gratitude and reflection
2025: Fitness and health on the rise
2026: Travel opportunity
2027: Reconnecting with someone from the past
2028: Creativity and whimsy
2029: Find balance in all aspects of life
The themes to look forward to are exciting and I will stay open for them and how they show up in my life.
I rather enjoyed my time with Rocky. His overall demeanor was very kind and laid back. By the way, for reference, his appearance reminded me of the actor called David Koetchner (look him up since I doubt you’re familiar with his work.) I just want you to have a rough idea of what Rocky looks like. Oh, and I should add that Rocky wore a ballcap the entire time we spoke. It was navy blue with a golden number 41 on it. I asked what 41 meant, and he said it’s the number of past lifetimes you’ve lived.
Just then, the plane roared to life. It was so loud it startled me. Rocky started cracking up and shouted, “Evelyn’s got a mind of her own sometimes. Have a good flight!” With that, he literally slid down the airplane’s wing and landed on the floor of the hangar. I wasn’t sure what to do, but I kind of panicked (because, again, these meditations feel so real, and I don’t know how to fly.)
But the plane steered itself out the hangar doors. It gained speed down the runway and took to the air without me so much as pushing a single button. My stomach dropped as the wheels left the runway and we gained altitude. Once up high enough, I noticed a farm was surrounding the hangar. Carved into the corn down below was a little “crop circle” in the form of a smiley face. That’s when everything went black, like it was the final scene of a movie.
