If you do something long enough, you’ll see patterns develop. After roughly fifteen years of being a professional psychic, I’ve realized that most people are searching for the same things - hope, direction, and peace of mind. So, that’s what I offer.
Unlike a traditional counselor, the majority of my job doesn’t entail listening. Instead, it involves doing most of the talking. People come to me expecting accurate, specific, and detailed information that will improve their lives. And they love it when I tell them what to do. It sounds weird, but it’s true. “Give it to me straight, and don’t sugarcoat anything,” they’ll tell me. I guess this is the perk of going to a psychic. Unlike a therapist, I’m not bound by any laws that prohibit me from being bossy. For better or worse, they can usually handle the intuitive guidance and predictions.
“You should have left your job years ago.”
“Yes, your husband’s bloodwork will come back normal. But no, he won’t start pulling his weight around the house.”
“Yes, you’re destined to have another child. But he’s likely to be feral and might chew holes in your couch by the time he’s three years old.”
Of course, it helps that I deliver messages with empathy and tact. I mean, I’m honest. But I’m not a monster.
So, what are the most common reasons people throw at me? That’s easy. The questions boil down to seven key topics.
Family
Love life
Career
Health
Life purposes
Past lifetimes
Spirit Guides (guardian angels)
Without fail, these always come up. And why not? They’re all key factors in our lives. Everyone wants to know their kids are healthy, happy, and on track. Plus, they can’t help but wonder what the kiddos will be when they grow up.
As you can imagine, the love life department is usually “complicated.” I do believe I’ve seen every dynamic imaginable. Finding and maintaining love can be tricky at times… like walking through a field of land mines while blindfolded and wearing snowshoes. I’ll never forget the week I met with a man’s wife and his mistress. It takes a lot to shock me, but that came close. Plus, he had the nerve to be present during both appointments. I wanted to tell him that his spirit guides had given up on him. But instead, I simply told him I’d no longer offer him psychic readings… and then I saged the hell out of my office to mitigate his sleazy vibes.
As for career and health, I’ve noticed those two topics go hand in hand. People who hate their jobs often struggle with health (both physical and mental.) Conversely, as the saying goes, if you enjoy your job, you’ll never work a day in your life. Thinking back, I remember speaking with a man who worked a desk job for a large corporate company. He was burnt out and looking for a change. “What career field can you see me happiest in?” he asked me.
“You should be a D.J. doing music for weddings and parties,” I said. I nearly regretted the words as they left my mouth. After all, he was dressed in a suit. I imagined he’d be more comfortable with a computer than a turntable. But then he started laughing. I asked what was so funny. He said the previous night, he’d impulsively purchased all the sound equipment needed to start a business as a D.J. Yahtzee!
As for life purposes, they’re the WHY in the question, “Why am I here?” Most of the time, our life purposes (soul lessons) are attributes of our character we’re working to improve upon during our time on this Earth. Some are new, while others are a continuation of lessons we worked on in past lifetimes. Knowing your Soul Goals is tremendously helpful when it comes to navigating life… and they explain why specific challenges, opportunities, and patterns always seem to occur.
The last two topics are heavily intertwined. Spirit guides and past lifetimes go together like pizza and pineapple. Okay… that one is up for debate. But honestly, we cannot speak of one topic without the other. Our spirit guides are generally friends and family members who greatly impacted us in past lifetimes. So, it’s possible to have a spirit guide who was your kooky uncle from 1600s France or a spirit guide who was your best friend during the Revolutionary War. The combinations are endless (and endlessly entertaining.)
I spend the better part of each day writing Soul Discoveries for clients after consulting with their spirit guides and slipping into past life adventures with them. *Insert shameless plug here* But seriously, it’s an honor and a privilege to share helpful insights for my clients on all the above topics. This week alone, I’m writing more than seventy pages worth of Soul Discovery sessions - it’s a written form of psychic reading that I’m enjoying tremendously. I’m constantly amazed by the wisdom (and humor) these spirit guides display.
Welp, that about does it for now. Seven Wonders of the Psychic World… served up for your reading enjoyment. Call or email my office to set up your appointment. And I hope to see some of you at tomorrow night’s event in Omaha - Soul Spark: Reigniting Happiness in Your Life.
Bon voyage,
Andy
