Hello, everyone! Happy Thursday! I’ve been staying busy conducting Soul Discoveries for my clients (a written form of psychic reading based on what the spirit guides tell me during meditations.) The one you’re about to read was memorable for a lot of reasons. My client has granted me permission to share this publicly, including the feedback she later emailed me (which is the best part!) Here is the write-up in its entirety…

Hi, Leslie. I’m so happy to do this for you. In the meditation, everything was so vibrant and colorful. I felt like I was on vacation. Here’s what I discovered for you…

I found myself staring at a board game resembling Monopoly, yet some elements were different. A woman walked up to the table, introduced herself as Renata, and insisted she was your spirit guide. She had a hippie vibe to her appearance as she wore a long, colorful dress and sported dreadlocks for a hairdo. She was fair-skinned and wore glasses with frames that were shaped like stars. I knew this was going to be fun. She asked if I wanted to play the game and insisted I choose a game piece. Each piece was silver in color, and I could choose between a crystal ball, a heart, prayer hands, a crescent moon, a hockey skate, a cruise ship, a bulldog, and a miniature mountain range.

By the way, I’ve come to learn that everything in these meditations has significance. There are “Easter eggs” everywhere, and the spirit guides incorporate tons of symbolism into these visions. That being the case, I asked Renata if these game pieces would mean something to you. She merely winked, insisting that was the case, but she did not elaborate or clarify the meaning of the game pieces. I nearly chose the crystal ball for obvious reasons but opted for the cruise ship instead.

When I picked up the cruise ship game piece, there was a flash of light, and the scene completely changed. I suddenly found myself standing on the deck of an actual cruise ship. Renata was standing next to me, smiling. She lowered her glasses slightly and glanced at me over the lenses as she said, “That was pretty cool, huh?”

I looked over the edge of the boat. Rather than being on the ocean, our ship was on a square of the board game. She said, “Full steam ahead… just tell me where you want to stop, and we’ll explore that section, okay?”

I ran to the front of the ship so I could read the game squares we were approaching. Much like Monopoly, each square ran along the outer edge of the game’s board. Since we were on a cruise ship, you can only imagine how large the game was. A section up ahead was labeled “Sole Purpose,” but it was crossed out, and underneath it were the words “Soul Purpose” (different spelling.) I asked about this. She laughed and said when your son was little, you went through a phase when you thought your sole purpose in life was being a mother. With time, he grew up, and you’ve realized there is SO much more to who you are. Being a mom may still be at the top of the totem pole, but it’s not your only purpose.

I asked more about this son. She said, “Big G? Don’t worry… we’ll get to him later.” Just then, the ship stopped. I heard a beeping sound that reminded me of an urgent Morse code message. Near the front of the boat was something that resembled a fax machine. On it was a blinking light that said, “Incoming message.” Renata told me to push the flashing red button, so I did. The machine spit out a paper titled “Soul Purposes.” I read through it, and there was too much information to relay word for word. Here, I’ll paraphrase what it said.

It said you’re destined to be a helper, healer, counselor, mentor, and lightworker. You are going through your life's most significant spiritual awakening right now. Your ambition is high, your vibration is even higher, and your desire to help others is through the roof. An ebb and flow is occurring. When you help and heal others, you’re finding parts of yourself that have gone missing. In other words, you’re gaining so much inspiration from assisting others that you’re healing yourself on some level. The letter stated there is no need to specialize in one modality of helping or healing. Do it all (energy levels permitting.) However, according to the paper, energy levels are abundant. Your intuition is very high at the moment. You’ve overcome the hurdle of self-doubt because you finally understand that your intuition does allow you to serve others. The only cautionary message in the letter involved keeping your ego in check to realize you’re not serving yourself but rather are serving a greater cause. It stated in very clear language that you are making the world a better place, one person at a time.

Although the letter centered around that, it did mention other soul purposes you’re here to experience. Motherhood was, of course, on the list. So was teamwork, communication, forgiveness, eliminating doubt, keeping mental health in check, self-care, taking a chance on yourself, and letting go. I suppose “letting go” is subject to interpretation, but I got the feeling it has to do with eliminating people from your life who are toxic or attempt to hold you back. Interestingly enough, the letter was signed by someone named Xavier, and next to the name was a small logo of an owl. Renata glanced at the sheet over my shoulder and said, “Oh my gosh. Why does he have to be so cryptic and mysterious?” She laughed. I asked who Xavier was. She said it was another one of your spirit guides who oversees your list of soul lessons. She insisted he’s a real goofball despite his serious job. As for the owl, she said it’s kind of his calling card. If you see owls (in any form), take it to mean Xavier is somewhere nearby, patting you on the back for working so hard on your soul purposes.

The cruise ship started moving again. This time, we stopped on a section titled PAST LIVES. Again, the machine started beeping. I pushed the button that said, “Incoming message.” Out came several sheets of paper. This time, there wasn’t much text other than dates and locations. But there were a lot of pictures representing past lifetimes. I saw images of you living in various mountainous regions, including what looked like Alaska (I know because I’ve been there before.) I then wondered if that’s why a mountain peak was one of the game pieces.

There was a lifetime in a Pacific Island nation where you were tattooed from head to toe – nearly your entire body was a work of art comprised of flowers and intricate line patterns. There was a past lifetime in the jungles of Honduras, but it was so long ago another country probably occupied it. You were a hunter-guide responsible for the lives of people passing through. You were fascinated with pumas and jaguars but were an animal whisperer in general. Mosquitos constantly bit you more than others, and it was a tough life overall.

In another lifetime, you were born into a wealthy English family with a Great Dane and two English bulldogs you loved dearly. Your family teased you for being “witchy” since you were into holistic practices. Your grandfather was wealthy and adored you (his granddaughter.) There was infighting among family members, and Grandpa left you a large sum of money. This irritated others to the point they unfortunately disowned you. You relocated, took your bulldogs with you, and donated most of your money to charities. There were other lifetimes as well – far too many to mention here.

As I took it all in, our ship suddenly started moving along the boardgame again. I heard Renata shout, “Whoooah!” I looked over, and she nearly fell over because she wasn’t holding onto anything when the ship quickly took off. I laughed, and so did she. I joked, “You’re a spirit guide… shouldn’t you know when this rig is about to take off?”

She giggled and mentioned the ship captain must be drunk or something. Renata is a real character, Leslie. I do hope you get better acquainted with her.

Our next stop was on a square labeled FAMILY AND FRIENDS. By this time, I was starting to get the hang of the pattern. The machine beeped, I pushed the button and out came the paper with some information on it. I’ll paraphrase what it said.

It said, “Big G” (your son?) is charming, handsome, likable, and intelligent. He may lack direction sometimes, but it’s only because he’s interested in so many different avenues that it’s hard for him to pick a lane. He’s a fast learner and catches onto things very quickly. He has tremendous leadership skills but should carefully consider the duties before signing up to be a boss or manager at any given job. He might be happier doing his own thing rather than be in charge of others.

Big G has a fantastic metabolism and a good appetite. He’ll find it easy to stay in good shape, and frequent workouts are the best way to clear his mind. In terms of love life, he’ll have no shortage of options. That being said, he won’t be a “playboy” because he values quality connections over superficial relationships. He should avoid partners who are overly needy or demanding of him. He has much to offer a future partner, so he should also demand a lot in return. He’s an old soul. In past lifetimes, he’s been a model, architect, inventor, and, most recently, a professional hockey player in Chicago. The future looks bright for him.

In the meditation, I continued reading the sheet in my hands. In terms of friendships, this sheet said your social life is bustling with like-minded people and friendships. It did caution against overextending yourself. In other words, you cannot make time for everyone who wants to see you. There simply aren’t enough hours in the day. Use your intuition to link up with others professionally. Collaborating is good, but only if your name and reputation are linked with others who are held in high regard. Do not attach your name to others if their morals or intentions differ from yours. The coming years will be some of the best regarding your social life and strengthening bonds with family and friends alike. This letter was signed by Leandra. Next to the name was a butterfly.

Once again, Renata was reading the letter over my shoulder. I said, “Another spirit guide, I presume?”

She responded, “Oh yeah, Leandra is my girl. Leslie would love her! Butterflies are kind of her thing, and she sends them to Leslie when someone in her inner circle needs help.”

I nodded. In other words, Leslie, if you see a butterfly, use your intuition, and whatever friend or family member pops into your head, call that person and see if they’re doing okay. Chances are, they’ll need someone to vent to.

I could sense that my time with Renata was nearing an end. I asked if there was anything else she wanted you to know. She leaned into me like she was about to say something really profound, and she said, “Tell Leslie to keep kicking ass. She’s doing great. But remind her she doesn’t have to have all the answers. She’s only human. Oh, and tell her she’s allowed to have an ‘off day’ sometimes. Nobody walks on air and farts sunshine all the time, you know?”

I couldn’t help but laugh at the expression, but I promised to relay that to you. In other words, you don’t have to be positive every minute of every day. More often than not, you’ll find it easy to be optimistic, but sometimes you just need to hole up and have a mental health day.

Renata insists you drink plenty of water. She says your dreams will be most vivid and memorable each year in the winter and summer seasons. But you’ll feel most creative in the spring and fall. She said the years 2025 and 2028 will be great financially. She said you’re craving a getaway, so make it happen sooner rather than later. And you’re due for a girl's trip. She used the term, “No boys allowed.” Sorry Big G (or husband) – haha.

Renata said you’re a sweet soul, but at the same time, you’re not to be messed with because you have a feisty side to you. You’re a spiritual warrior, but you’re still a warrior! Lastly, she said that Catherine says hello and sends her love from afar. I’ll let you make sense of that one because she didn’t elaborate.

Be sure to call on Leandra, Renata, and the ever-elusive Xavier for help whenever needed, okay, Leslie? Intuitively, I know you have several other spirit guides as well. They cycle in and out of your life as needed, depending on what’s happening… but they’re always readily available to help. I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.

WOW right out of the gate, the symbolism and synchronicities are AMAZING! The game pieces… Crystal ball, as you said obvious. A heart and prayer hands are meaningful and obvious to me as I am an energetic healer and Reiki Master. Crescent moon- because all things ebb, flow, and ultimately revolve around the moon(right?). The hockey skates – my son played hockey for many years. I just went on my first cruise with family last August (glorious)! Bulldogs- I have 2 currently as my fur-children. The mountain game piece – I LOVE all things mountains, Colorado, Montana, Alaska (just visited on that cruise). So YES Renata was correct-They mean something to me.

SOLE purpose, Renata is correct again. I did a lot of soul searching and seeking my purposes when my son was younger. I became frustrated it wasn’t immediately evident. I then concluded my purpose was solely to be a mom. Since then, I have done more searching on my purpose outside of motherhood. Still exploring this and gaining insights. My spirit guide Renata sounds amazing and like the type of individual and personality that I am fascinated with & strive to be more like !

I love the insight and validation of being a helper, healer, counselor, mentor, and light worker. I definitely feel as though I am going through significant spiritual awakening right now with everything that has recently occurred in my life. So true to heal myself in healing others.

The past lives are amazing and clearly interconnected to my current one. The past life flower tattoos… I still love all things flowers and have a bit of body art myself now – much of it floral, nature, birds and butterflies. Still fascinated with animals and attempt to communicate and understand them now. Love that I was an animal whisperer in a past life as well! As a child my parents, grandparents, and other adults thought I may become a veterinarian. I do practice Animal Reiki healing. And mosquitos still love my skin over that of others (same as the past life.) The 2 English bulldogs… well I’m literally living that life again.. lol! I also love Great Danes and have since days of the comic strip Marmaduke. But, seriously I’ve been contemplating adding a Great Dane to our fur children mix. Also, not wanting to keep the money or inherited riches but rather give it to charities resonates as well.

Interesting the soul purposes sheet was signed by Xavier as that is actually the name that we considered for my son ( Big G) . I love owls and often say “we are birds of a feather” ! I will keep Xavier and my Soul purposes in mind from now on when I see owls.

“BIG G” that was mentioned is my adult son, Garret. He is all the things you mentioned. And so wise beyond his years and capable of ANYTHING and EVERYTHING! He does have good metabolism and appetite, loves the gym and even thought about studying athletic training/ exercise science. He wants to own his own gym and be a trainer.

His past lives are also in alignment with current characteristics and life. He actually did a bit of modeling as an elementary kid but quickly was bored and irritated by the demands.. lol. He can build and design so well with little guidance. His past life as a pro hockey player… well, he played hockey for 10-11 years and also considered continuing to play in college.

I do have many friendships and I can relate to not having time for everyone. So this is good validation. I loved hearing that family bonds will be strengthened. Our families have had a rough couple years and we are all coming “ back together” nicely. Leandra and the butterflies! I have always loved them as well and believe they are loved ones near when I see them.

I love that Renata says “no one walks on air and farts sunshine all the time”. My beloved granny had similar quirky sayings we all love and recall.

I AM trying to increase water intake and will remember this! Yay 2025 & 2028! And I do have a trip to Ireland planned end of year… AND I also just planned a girls trip ( mom & sisters) trip.

Catherine was mentioned. She is my aunt who passed on leap day 12 years ago. Also my godmother. She and my son had a good bond even though they didn’t see each other a lot and she passed when he was young.
