Her Spirit Guide Rides a Harley

Client feedback on a Soul Discovery session

What you’re about to read is a Soul Discovery session I wrote for a client. It includes the feedback she later sent me via email. Her comments have been inserted into the appropriate places in the story (in italics.) This is being shared with her permission.

A Soul Discovery session is a written form of psychic reading. I meditate to consult with a person’s spirit guides (guardian angels.) After taking a little adventure with the spirit guides, I write down all the insights they shared with me regarding my client. The setting is different for each experience, as are the messages that come through. It’s a privilege and an honor doing these for people, and it’s so much fun! Happy reading.

Hi there, Judy. Thanks for having me do this for you. When I conduct these soul discoveries, everything is vibrant and colorful, making the meditation feel like real life. I cannot control what happens in these visions, so I just go along with whatever transpires and do my best to take in all the details. You opted to leave this open-ended, but plenty of information came through. Here’s what I discovered for you…

I found myself standing at a gas station. A guy in a bandana walked up to me. He had a long beard and wore a leather jacket. Although he looked tough, his smile was kind, and he seemed like a big teddy bear. He introduced himself as Jake – one of your spirit guides. I asked what he was in charge of helping you with, and he tapped the gas pump we were standing next to. “Energy levels. I guess you could say I fill up her gas tank when needed.”

I asked how your energy levels have been lately. “Up and down,” was his response.

I do have problems with my energy.

He pulled a small map from his back pocket and unfolded it. The map displayed the entire country, but some states were highlighted yellow. I asked why this was, and Jake said there are certain places that “refill your soul’s cup” very quickly. I commented that all the highlighted states were coastal areas, and my eyes were drawn to Florida in particular. He laughed and said, “Hell, anywhere with an ocean or a coastline will do. She should have been a damn mermaid in this lifetime rather than a human.” Again, he laughed with a raspy voice.

I love the beach and love the sun. I do feel so much better living near an ocean. I’m a Pisces. Always vacation in Florida. My husband and me moved to Florida from Chicago in 2019 to 2021 and were married on the beach in 2020. 

Jake handed me a pair of keys and pointed to the motorcycle that was resting near the gas pump. I said I didn’t know how to drive a motorcycle. “You can talk to spirits but can’t handle a Harley?” Again, he chuckled. He assured me it would practically drive itself. I figured there was no way to get hurt during a meditation, so I hopped on. I asked where I should go. He said, “Don’t worry, she’ll steer you to the right place.” And he was right, the Harley literally drove itself.

First, I’d like to tell you that I did ride on Harley’s motorcycles as a passenger. My husband now –  we’ve been riding since 2016. We were in a riding club. So when you were talking about my spirit guide Jake big burley guy… I had to laugh.

I ended up in an area surrounded by a chain-linked fence and barbed wire. This surprised me because there was merely a turquoise-colored wooden shack in the middle of the vacant lot. I got off the bike and inspected the lock on the gate. Just then, a voice behind me said, “Need a hand?” It startled me, so I turned around and noticed a lady standing there who seemed to have appeared from nowhere. She wore a tie-dye shirt, cut-off jean shorts, and flip-flops. Her long, curly hair was pulled back with a headband. She introduced herself as Twilah – another of your spirit guides. She walked up to the lock, waved her hand in front of it, and it fell from the gate and landed on the ground. “Follow me,” she said.

I walked behind her toward the turquoise shack. She glanced over her shoulder and asked me, “You have insurance on that bike you were riding, don’t ya?” This caught me off-guard, and I didn’t know what to say. She laughed and said, “I’m just kidding. You better get fluent in sarcasm if you’re going to drive around Judy’s soul.”

We stepped inside the shack, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was nicer than I had expected based on the empty lot it rested on. I asked Twilah what was up with the barbed wire surrounding the property. She said you tend to be guarded when it comes to letting new people into your life. You’ve been burnt and taken advantage of a few times, and this has caused you to realize that trust should be earned, not given away freely. Once someone is in your life, your heart is entirely theirs, but you'll keep them at a distance until they prove themselves to have good intentions. And this is what the razor wire represented.

Ha! I have a Barb-wire tattoo on my right arm. I definitely have trust issues and I do put my guard up with men.

Once inside the shack, I looked around. Inspirational quotes were hanging everywhere. Some were framed, others were taped to the wall, and some were inscribed on various decorations.

 I am the inspirational quote person for sure!

There was décor involving the beach (seashells, wooden sandals, miniature sailboats, etc.) There was a clock on the wall made to look like the sun, and the time was frozen at 11:44. Twilah said every item there was somehow connected to you and your life, either in an obvious way or subconsciously. Interestingly enough, I looked out the window, and rather than seeing the empty lot surrounded by barbed wire, I saw the beach and an ocean. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I walked back outside and only saw the vacant lot. I walked back inside, looked out the window again, and saw a clear blue ocean. “It’s pretty groovy, isn’t it?” Twilah was smiling at me and nodding her head. She very much had a hippie vibe to her.

About a a year ago I was going to open a hippie shop called Metaphysical Hippie, but it never happened. I’m really into all that hippie stuff.

I asked if we were inside a magical shack. She laughed and said, “Everything is magic if viewed from the correct angle. Judy has a knack for looking on the bright side of life. It allows her to see the good in people before the bad. It’s why she strives to be so positive and bright in a world that often seems drab.”

I then understood why we would see the ocean from a crummy industrial lot. I asked what she could tell me about you. She chuckled and asked how much time I had. She basically rattled off a monologue of thoughts and ideas. It was far too much information to relay word for word. So here, I’ll paraphrase what she said.

She said you need to get better sleep. You often wake up feeling as tired as you were before going to bed.

I sleep eight hours but maybe I don’t sleep well because I am tired in the morning. It may have something to do with my thyroid.

She insisted your skin has become more sensitive in the past few years, so if you’re going to be in the sun for prolonged periods of time, you better use sun protection even if you don’t want to. She said to pay attention to your throat health. Spicy foods may not agree with you like they used to. Some drainage, phlegm, and acid reflux may become a mild annoyance, but you can combat this with over-the-counter medicine. You’re a trooper, and you’ll be fine.

I have had a dry throat the last few days and lots of phlegm. I will definitely stay away from Cholula hot sauce .

She said you’ve been a warrior in several past lifetimes. You were often unstoppable when you believed in the cause you were fighting for. In other past lives, you had a soft spot for animals, frequently rescuing and rehabilitating them. In fact, there was a lifetime where you had a pet wolf and another where you had a pet falcon. Both are now your animal spirit guides.

I used to save stray cat and kittens I would feed them and TNR the stray cats .  

 There were past lifetimes when you cared for vulnerable populations, taking in children who needed a place to live and tending to the poor, injured, or neglected. In other lifetimes, you dabbled with various healing modalities such as Reiki (although you called it by a different name.) There was even a lifetime where you were “witchy” and were an oracle – a psychic or mystic that people would travel great distances to consult with.

I’ve done psychic readings and I’ve always been told that I was a healer. I did learn Reiki. And practice on people. I no longer do readings or healings though. it’s funny you told me that I was a witch or a Mystic in my past lifetime because my friend from New York told me the same thing just last week.

I asked what some of your current themes are (life lessons and soul goals.) Twilah said she urges you to stay curious and open-minded. Since you’re willing to do this soul discovery session, I would say you’re passing that test. However, she said part of this goal includes remaining open-minded to other people’s viewpoints, even if you don’t necessarily agree with them. She insists that not everything is so black and white, so consider all the angles before forming strong opinions on some matters.

She said trust is another life lesson of yours – we touched on that earlier when first walking through the padlocked gate of the property. She says you are an advocate and counselor for others (to a certain extent.) Get used to people oversharing their problems with you and asking you for advice. Another life lesson includes proving that you’re self-sufficient and independent while simultaneously allowing others to help you when they offer. This is a balancing act, but you’re figuring it out.

I never had a career, I was a stay a home mom & worked side jobs. So I like to be independent and make my own money instead of relying on husband.

I asked if there was anyone in your life who generally offers help or assistance. She referenced someone named Doug or Douglas.

I’ve been married a 3x  times all three of my husbands are named Doug(Douglas) ha ha

Twilah said he is a doer – he may not be one to write a poem or openly share his feelings that often, but he’s fun to be around. He’s dependable, honest, hard-working, trustworthy, and he takes action when things need to get done. He doesn’t belly ache or complain about things, he comes up with solutions and fixes things. This is good because you find this type of can-do attitude to be a really excellent quality in a person.

Twilah also mentioned your daughter, although she did not give her name. She said this daughter has gentle energy, but “gentle” should not be confused with being a pushover. She is kindhearted, a good communicator, and truly wants to positively impact everyone she meets. She may take an interest in psychology. If not professionally, at least to the extent that she’s interested in learning how the mind works and finds human behavior fascinating. She’s been a teacher and a nurse in many past lifetimes. She may struggle with a touch of anxiety from time to time, but only because she is so sweet and feels things on such a great level emotionally.

You were also spot on about my daughter! I emailed your office to sign my daughter up for a soul session. Please let me know what date you can get her in!

Twilah insisted that you ARE on track in life, Judy. She says your intuition is rising, and you’re going through a spiritual awakening right now. In fact, she said just before the world shut down, you came to life in many ways. I took this to mean that just before the pandemic, you found yourself in a very good place, personally and emotionally. She said you should light candles more often. Water may be your primary soul element, but fire/flame is second. Being near a lit flame calms your nerves more than you realize.

I can totally feel that I’m having a spiritual awakening. I see many signs from the universe. I have a journal that I communicate to the universe gratitude manifesting and just connecting so thank you for that. I’m glad my intuition is getting even stronger.

Lastly, I asked Twilah if she shared any past lifetimes with you. She laughed and said, “We raised hell more times than I can count. But she always had my back, and I always had her. Such good memories!” Finally, she handed me a paper with years listed on it. She explained these were “peak” years in which you’ll find yourself in excellent spirits. The years might be busy and packed with travel, adventure, changes, challenges, and big decisions. Ultimately, they will be fun and rewarding – some of the most memorable years when you look back on your life someday. The years were 2024, 2028, 2031, 2032, and 2039.

She assured me the timeline does not end there. But moving forward from there is uncharted territory (events not yet written by destiny, so it’s impossible to calculate what will happen beyond 2039.)

Twilah then hugged me and asked that I pass that hug along to you. Obviously, I cannot do that physically, but I hope this write-up serves to lift your spirits.
