I was mowing the yard recently and experienced something that shook me to my core. It was a moment that made me question the nature of reality and the world as we know it. Can we harness our soul’s true power and use it for good? Can we conjure physical objects out of thin air? Can we think matter into existence? As I recently discovered, it’s not only possible, it’s undeniable.

Allow me to paint the picture. I was mowing my backyard and wasn’t thinking about anything in particular. It was warm but not sweltering. I was on autopilot, feeling the vibrations of the mower, and trying to keep the grass lines as straight as possible. As I pushed the lawnmower along my fence line, a thought popped into my head out of the blue.

“I wonder if I’ll ever see a snake out here while mowing?”

I never had before. And while I’m not fond of snakes, I don’t necessarily have a phobia of them, either. So, this sudden notion of seeing one was quite bizarre. As I often do, I turned a mole hill into a mountain by giving a mundane topic extraordinary meaning.

I began thinking about the idea proposed by philosophers and physicists that our entire reality is merely a matrix, a simulation, a glorified video game where we are “player one” and our surroundings adapt to whatever we think, feel, expect, wish, dream, fear, and so on. Said differently, our reality can change before our very eyes, depending on what we expect to see.

“Okay, Universe,” I thought quietly while still mowing. “If we are truly living in a matrix reality, it means I can literally think anything into existence, whether it’s good, bad, or neutral. Since snakes are on the brain, show me a snake to prove we live in a simulated reality.”

At that very instant (and I swear this on my dad’s grave), a snake appeared right in front of me! It didn’t slither into my path. It was just… there! The little black snake moved along just two feet in front of my mower, and then disappeared into my flower bed. Needless to say, my mouth hung open in disbelief.

If you’ve read my books or followed me on social media, then you know I’m open-minded about the possibility we’re living in a matrix. In fact, many of the brightest minds on the planet feel it’s highly likely that we are living inside an advanced simulation. Those who subscribe to this theory include NASA scientist, Rich Terrile, Oxford philosopher, Nick Bostrom, MIT Researcher, Rizwan Virk, and the most notable astrophysicist on the planet at the moment, Neil deGrasse Tyson (just to name a few).

Who created our reality, and for what purpose, remains a subject of debate. Most people refer to this creator as God. However, a growing number of people believe that life as we know it may have been created by an advanced alien species eons ago. As wild as this sounds, it’s worth contemplating. After all, we see evidence of this concept in our everyday lives. Tech companies create video games so advanced that the characters within the game have free will and the ability to learn, grow, and evolve independently… sometimes to the point of self-awareness (like we’re seeing with the rise of AI). Perhaps life itself is a video game that’s billions and trillions of times more advanced than a PlayStation game. And we are the characters inside the game.

If that’s the case, everything we touch, taste, smell, hear, and see might be an illusion, but the graphics would be so detailed it would be indistinguishable from “real” life. I know this sounds bonkers, but it’s actually on par with what I’ve been saying for years. Life is not what it seems. There is more to our reality than meets the eye. Our true home, our true “reality,” is in Heaven (the other side, the afterlife, the great beyond, the spirit world). Much like a video game, we can’t actually “die” because, while our bodies are frail, our souls are eternal. In other words, our souls are holding the game controller, and our bodies are like Super Mario inside the game. Plus, the concept of reincarnation gives us “extra lives,” much like we have while playing a video game.

The good news? This changes nothing in terms of the importance of life. Kindness matters. Love matters. Working hard, being honest, and striving to achieve our dreams. It all matters. It’s important because, simulation or not, this reality gives us a chance to have experiences and make lasting memories. We would be fools to squander such a glorious chance to dance upon this stage that’s been built. We can debate who built this stage or for what purpose. But one thing is undeniable. It’s a great place to let our light shine. To show the world what we’re truly made of.

If we’re living in an advanced matrix, it means we’re creating our own reality, moment by moment, day by day, with nothing but the power of our minds. Our thoughts, actions, intentions, and assumptions shape the world we inhabit. This may prove to be great news if you dream big and tend to think positively. If so, you might find yourself “leveling up” and feeling unstoppable as you move to more advanced levels of this game of life. I mean, if someone can manifest a snake in the yard, that means it’s possible to manifest money, love, abundance, health, a dream job, etc.

But if you’re guilty of having a “glass is half empty” mentality, you might want to be more mindful of your thoughts. If you focus on the negative for long enough, you might steer your avatar into a level of the game that’s hard to navigate… one filled with internal demons and emotional dragons that must be slayed. You might even bump into the game’s background characters who try to steal your money, time, energy, or health points. Don’t let them. Take back control of yourself, your life, your world, your thoughts.

And if you need the cheat codes for doing this, I would be happy to provide them in a Soul Discovery session. See my website for details.

So, if life is a simulated reality or a glorified computer, what about psychic abilities? In a technological sense, psychics like me are basically software experts or IT workers who can access the database’s mainframe. In doing so, we can retrieve the game’s code and gather information on what is likely to happen in future levels of the simulation.

What then shall we make of my serpentine friend in my yard?
